[ Studio 04 — Web Design ]

Your site is the largest piece of brand collateral you'll ever ship.

Most agencies treat it as a Webflow template with a brand skin. We design the site as the primary expression of the brand — every typographic decision, every motion, every interaction tested against the bet the strategy made. Then we ship it production-ready, not a Figma file you have to redraw.

[ Diagnostic ]

Why most brand sites underwhelm.

Brand work fails for predictable reasons. Here's what we see most — and how we engineer around it.

Template skinning, not brand expression

Pre-built template + brand color swap + couple of custom hero sections. The result feels like a thousand other SaaS sites. Brand identity does not survive contact with the homepage.

Designed for the deck, not the screen

Mocks look great in the case-study deck. Live site has wonky type sizes, broken mobile patterns, motion that drags on slow connections. The handoff was the failure point.

No system, every page is bespoke

Hero is one off, about page is one-off, careers is one-off. Six months in, the team is rebuilding patterns from scratch. There was never a real component library.

Performance treated as engineering's problem

Designers ship 30MB of unoptimised hero video. LCP is 6 seconds. The brand impression collapses before it loads. Performance is a brand decision, not a build problem.

What we run.

Senior-only delivery. The strategist, identity lead, and writer on your project have all shipped at scale.

Information architecture + sitemap
Component-first design system (Figma + tokens)
Page design — home, about, product, blog, careers
Motion + interaction direction with prototypes
Typography + layout system that scales mobile-first
Performance budget (LCP, INP, CLS) baked into design decisions
Front-end build (Next.js, Astro, or Webflow per fit)
CMS + handoff — Sanity, Contentful, or Webflow
[ Method ]

Eight to twelve weeks. Designed to be shipped..

Project-priced. Scope-locked. Senior operators from kickoff to handoff.

01

Architecture + audit

Sitemap, content inventory, performance baseline, analytics audit. We diagnose what's loading wrong, what's missing, and what's redundant before designing anything.

02

System-first design

Component library before pages. Tokens before components. Performance budget locked. Type, color, motion all tested in prototype before any page is mocked.

03

Page composition + content

Pages composed from components. Content drafted alongside layout, not after. Mobile and desktop designed in parallel, not desktop-first-mobile-later.

04

Build + ship

Frontend built by senior engineers. Performance verified live (LCP, INP, CLS). CMS integrated. Handoff includes a working design system, not a Figma file dump.

[ What you get ]

Concrete deliverables. Nothing vague.

Working artifacts your team uses weekly — not glossy decks parked on a shared drive.

  • 01Sitemap + IA
  • 02Component library (Figma) + design tokens (CSS variables)
  • 03All page designs (mobile + desktop)
  • 04Motion prototypes (Framer / After Effects / Lottie)
  • 05Production build in chosen stack (Next.js / Astro / Webflow)
  • 06CMS integration + content team training
  • 07Performance verified — Core Web Vitals at green
  • 08Working handoff doc + 30-day post-launch review
[ Questions ]

What founders ask before signing.

Do you build, or just design?

Both. Design and front-end engineering sit on one team. We've shipped on Next.js, Astro, Remix, and Webflow. We pick the stack to fit the team that maintains it after we leave.

Can you work with our existing CMS?

Yes. We've shipped on Sanity, Contentful, Webflow, Strapi, and headless WordPress. We'll recommend if your current CMS is the constraint, but we don't force a migration to bill.

What if we want to keep our existing site and add only key pages?

Common engagement. We ship a hero refresh, a new product page, or a brand microsite that fits inside your existing system. Cleaner than a full rebuild when budget is tight.

How do you handle SEO continuity?

We audit existing rankings, preserve URL structure where possible, set up 301s for any restructure, and keep your team's SEO operator on the call from week 1. Site rebuilds that lose 30% of traffic are avoidable.
